The Cotswolds are a lovely spot, And I had the fortune to stay there earlier in the year. I took the title picture on my first morning simply as an aide memoire. My excuse was I was carrying a one year old, my dslr was not to hand, and I had not yet had coffee. Oh, the horror.
It's a nice enough picture. The red of the maple contrasts nicely with the green foliage set in the filed of blues supplied by the water and sky. But it really, really needs to capture the full sweep of the water.
Mostly though, I think, it's missing ducks. Lots of ducks. Or rowboat. Some sign of activity to give a focal vitality to the peacefulness.
